On March 26, doctors in Lviv received the humanitarian aid cargo from their Polish colleagues. Together with the Knights of Columbus, the Association of Polish Surgeons sent 5 tonnes of medical equipment necessary for cardiac surgeries to the Ukrainian doctors from Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.
O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, in this time of trial we turn to you. As our Mother, you love us and know us: no concern of our hearts is hidden from you. Mother of mercy, how often we have experienced your watchful care and your peaceful presence! You never cease to guide us to Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
The Anti-crisis Headquarters of the Archdiocese of Lviv, headed by the auxiliary bishop Edward Kawa together with the Knights of Columbus Order, Caritas-Spes mission of the Archdiocese of Lviv and Foundation “Give Hope” actively continue to provide humanitarian aid to the people affected by the warfare -- both refugees and those who were unable to leave the territories under the active warfare.
My dear brothers in Christian priesthood, bishops of Germany, that fight for the rihts of minorities and against climate change. Silent bishops of Belarus and Russia! Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, catholics of Germany, Belarus and Russia. Why you remain silent while they are killing us? Where is Your voice of solidarity with innocent victims of Putin`s Russia?
In some ecclesial contexts, plans and proposals for blessings of unions of persons of the same sex are being advanced. Such projects are not infrequently motivated by a sincere desire to welcome and accompany homosexual persons, to whom are proposed paths of growth in faith, “so that those who manifest a homosexual orientation can receive the assistance they need to understand and fully carry out God’s will in their lives”[1].
