In Apostolic Letter "Patris corde - With the heart of the Father", Pope Francis commemorates the 150-th anniversary of the proclamation of St. Joseph the Betrothed as the patron saint of the universal Church. On this occasion, from December 8 this year to December 8, 2021 will be celebrated "Year of St. Joseph".
In the Year of Our Lord 2026, the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine gathers around the mystery of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to contemplate His infinite love, make reparation for the sins of the world, and implore the gift of peace, justice, and the spiritual rebirth of our homeland. In the spirit of liturgical veneration of the Savior, whose Heart "is vast and full of greatness" (Preface of the Sacred Heart), we address this solemn letter to you, inviting you to enter together into the mystery of God`s love, which is unfading even in the midst of suffering and war.
