On the April 9, the representatives of the international catholic charitable organization Kirche in Not that since December 2011 has the status of the Papal Foundation, have come to Lviv with the working visit.

On March 26, doctors in Lviv received the humanitarian aid cargo from their Polish colleagues. Together with the Knights of Columbus, the Association of Polish Surgeons sent 5 tonnes of medical equipment necessary for cardiac surgeries to the Ukrainian doctors from Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.

In some ecclesial contexts, plans and proposals for blessings of unions of persons of the same sex are being advanced. Such projects are not infrequently motivated by a sincere desire to welcome and accompany homosexual persons, to whom are proposed paths of growth in faith, “so that those who manifest a homosexual orientation can receive the assistance they need to understand and fully carry out God’s will in their lives”[1].

The spiritual path of sons and daughters of St. Benedict continues in Ukraine but only in the abbey of nuns in Zhytomyr. There are no Benedictine monks, and until recently there was nothing to indicate that there would be, especially during this time of pandemic when no one thinks of beginning a new monastic foundation. But unexpectedly, an all-changing sign appeared.
